The whole world is looking for change, which is the very definition of salvation. That’s what the word “saved” meant in its time and context. Deliverance. Movement from where I am to where I want to be. To be saved means to be changed. And the bible proclaims that real salvation, real change, real deliverance, real movement is found only in the name and person of Jesus. He is THE change agent. All real change, lasting change, fundamental change, is a product of his word and spirit.
